Space Is Key

In this noisy world, creating some space for yourself is key to sanity.

Reading a book, Netflixing, playing a game, or tinkering the next iOS app are some of the easiest ways to have the space. You don’t get interrupted or judged, not at least when you don’t specifically ask for it.

Having the space is different than solitude. The space can have guests. You are the owner of the space, meaning you can kick out any guest you wish.

To that end, “the space” is broader by definition. My Instagram and my WeChat Moments are examples of my space. Instead of kicking boring and annoying guests out, I politely mute them. It’s been so good.
